2001

  • Jeni Garrett, founder, President and CEO, opens the first Woodhouse Day Spa in Victoria , Texas

2003

  • The Woodhouse attends the International Franchise Expo in March; by November, they open the first Woodhouse franchise in Kingston , Pennsylvania

2004

  • The Woodhouse opens 10 locations
  • Jeni Garrett wins the “Rising Star” award by Day Spa magazine

2005

  • The Woodhouse hosts its First Annual Family Reunion in Victoria , Texas
  • Establishes The Woodhouse Rewards Program, a guest loyalty initiative
  • Introduces the Pay It Forward Program to support non-profit groups and agencies

2006

  • The Woodhouse issues the First Annual Spa Benchmark Report to its franchise partners---a tool created to help the owners manage their business
  • Implements The 99 Elements of The Woodhouse
  • Converts system-wide POS system to Millennium Software

2007

  • The Woodhouse receives the #1 Day Spa Chain in America award from Day Spa Magazine, a national spa publication
  • Implements The Woodhouse Corporate Rewards Program

2008

  • Launches webinars to train franchise partners and spa teams
  • Starts a monthly educational email, “Wellness Message”, which is sent to all Woodhouse guests

2009

  • The Woodhouse implements an online communication system to continually stay in touch with franchise partners
  • Transitions to the Amala skin and body care product line
  • Introduces a virtual home office called “The Woodhouse Village,” and promotional kits to assist with implementation of promotions
  • “Wellness Blogs” are started

2010

  • The Woodhouse hosts its first system-wide Women's Wellness Event to support the American Heart Association’s “Go Red For Women” campaign
