Next Steps

If you would like to be considered for inclusion in our growing franchise family, you must complete an application for the Home Office's review and approval. The Woodhouse's franchisee selection process has been created to offer both you and The Woodhouse the ability to fully evaluate a potential relationship and to determine if there is a good fit. We're sure that the more you learn about The Woodhouse's concept, culture and company, the more you will want to become a part of this exciting opportunity. The Woodhouse will consider applicants who possess the following qualifications:

Financial Qualifications. All applicants must meet The Woodhouse's minimum financial requirements and be in a position to properly capitalize the franchise investment including working capital during the start-up period.

Team Player. As an extremely inclusive organization, we look for people who work well with others, openly share and participate and who will positively contribute to The Woodhouse's overall success. Applicants will be dedicated and motivated to succeed not only for themselves but also for the franchise family.

People Person. To truly embrace the vision and mission of The Woodhouse and its culture, you must enjoy working with the public, possess strong problem solving skills and truly understand the importance of delivering outstanding guest service.

Attention to Detail. The Woodhouse's franchise system has evolved over the years based on experience, industry demands, guest needs, technology and franchisee feedback. You must be prepared to follow the operational details of The Woodhouse's best business practices.

The path to owning a Woodhouse Day Spa franchise is an exciting journey. We will work with you to complete the multi-phased process beginning with your Request For Information form.

  1. Our Director of Franchise Development will call you to introduce The Woodhouse and our brand, discuss basic information and explain the franchise process.
  2. If basic qualifiers are met, based on preliminary information and conversations, the Director of Franchise Development will send you an information packet which includes a DVD. At that time, you will be required to fill out a Personal Profile. In addition, Woodhouse will perform a standard credit check.
  3. Once you have reviewed the packet and DVD, our Franchise Development staff or one of our Regional Developers will contact you to set up an initial interview. During this meeting you will be able to ask questions regarding Woodhouse Day Spa franchising and explore development opportunities. We will send a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) to you to review.
  4. After a full review of the FDD with you and our representative, you will be required to return the "Acknowledgement of Receipt" form. At this time, communication with lending institutions should begin along with preparation of your business plan. We strongly recommend contacting existing Woodhouse franchisees to discuss their franchise experience and to ask any additional questions you may have.
  5. Once all necessary documentation has been received, a Discovery Day is scheduled at the company's Home Office in Victoria, Texas.
  6. At the Discovery Day (or shortly thereafter), a Letter of Intent (LOI) will be provided to you outlining fees, development schedule and territory. This LOI must be signed and returned to the company's CEO before an official franchise offer can be made.
  7. Upon approval, a franchise is granted and the Franchise Agreement is sent to you for your signature.
  8. Once the Franchise fee is returned with the signed Franchise Agreement, you become a member of The Woodhouse family of franchisees.
