The Woodhouse Home Office Team offers its franchise partners support on a continual basis. This support is delivered through personal communications with our spa owners, online tools and resources, and through our thoughtfully developed, extensive training programs. The Woodhouse provides you the structure and tools you need to obtain your entrepreneurial dreams and business success.

Real Estate

Woodhouse Commitment: To diligently pursue, negotiate and approve the best spa locations through our relationship with Halakar Real Estate.

Summary of Franchisor’s Support:

  • Assist in site selection for the first and subsequent locations.
  • Comprehensive site approval
  • Assistance in negotiating leases
  • Trade area analysis

Design and Layout

Woodhouse Commitment: To create spa environment that will WOW our guests and franchisees. To design each spa incorporating the ambiance standards, operational flow and financial benchmarks, while ensuring Brand Standards are upheld.

Summary of Franchisor’s Support:

  • Provide franchisee, architect and contractor with a space plan and furniture layout
  • Provide franchisee, architect and contractor with a specification manual outlining all finishes, fixtures, furniture and accessories to be used

Construction

Woodhouse Commitment: To develop a relationship with the franchisees and assist them from the signing of the franchise agreement until the soft opening of the spa. To provide support to franchisees through checklists, architectural support and construction knowledge and experience.

Summary of Franchisor’s Support:

  • Architectural review process
  • Communicate daily with general contractor
  • Assist in reviewing and monitoring construction budget
  • Specifications oversight and guidance

Training

Woodhouse Commitment: To thoroughly equip franchisees to operate The Woodhouse Day Spa in a manner that is profitable, instills brand standards, and that is consistent with the vision and purpose.

Summary of Franchisor’s Support:

  • Provide Start-Up training to franchisees via webinar
  • Provide two-week Jump Start training at Home Office
  • Provide On-Site training to franchisees and spa teams prior to opening
  • Provide Refresher training to spas as needed

Purchasing

Woodhouse Commitment: To create a spa environment that will WOW our guests and franchisees by selecting the best furniture, fixtures, equipment, products, and accessories at the best possible pricing and terms.

Summary of Franchisor’s Support:

  • Procurement of all items needed to operate the spa
  • Negotiate with vendors for the best pricing and terms
  • Order all furniture, fixtures, products, and equipment during the start-up phase of development.
  • Manage all on-going purchasing programs and “push-down” the information directly into franchisee’s POS system.

Operations

Woodhouse Commitment: To provide franchisees with an outstanding business model, operational systems, and support structure to ensure brand standards are upheld, franchisee’s expectations are exceeded and guests’ expectations are exceeded.

Summary of Franchisor’s Support:

  • Weekly Action Calls during the first six months of operation to review budget versus actual performance, scheduling and personnel issues, marketing efforts and provide troubleshooting.
  • Monthly Action Calls 6 months to 1 year and quarterly Action Calls on-going.
  • Provide weekly email bulletins to keep spas up-to-date
  • Monthly report cards to compare financial and operational key indicators by spa type, region, age and overall standings.
  • Perform monthly courtesy calls designed to enhance the franchise relationship.

Marketing

Woodhouse Commitment: To develop marketing plans and creative concepts and designs that will make The Woodhouse the brand leader in the Spa Industry and maximize the revenues of our franchisees.

  • Assistance in developing start-up and on-going marketing and advertising plans
